Have you ever had that moment where you suddenly want to go eat at a certain restaurant only to discover it's closed for good?

It can be shocking and sad, and suddenly nostalgic for the good times you had there.

Just last year, which really isn't that long ago, even though time really does fly sometimes, New Hampshire saw a number of eateries shut their doors. Some you might not have even realized.

New Hampshire Restaurant Closings 2024

TGI Fridays in Amherst was one of the first to face its end in January 2024, according to WMUR. The news station reported that the solo New Hampshire location was among multiple franchise spots that ended their run across the country due to underperformance.

Did you know that marked the end of TGI Fridays in the Granite State, leaving only Massachusetts as the New England state still containing the chain restaurant?

Of course, it wasn't just chain restaurants meeting their demise.

Even long-standing restaurants like Blue Latitudes in Dover called it quits. That place had been open for over 20 years.

Imagine you haven't been to either of those spots in a minute, and you go to look up what times the places are open so you can chow down on your favorites, only to spot a tragic "permanently closed" note. That hits a sore spot for sure.

Let's take a look at some other notable closings from last year that you may or may not have realized are no more. Miss you, 2024.

It really makes you wish you could just hit up these places one more time.

Luckily, some places still exist in other states, so if you want to take the drive, you can. And some have transitioned to catering (so get a big party together if you want some food).
