Pennsylvania-based Oola Bowls opened their first location in Westbrook a few months ago. That wasn't by accident as the chain now goes head-to-head with rival Playa Bowls located right across the street.
While Playa Bowls mulls further expansion in the state, Oola Bowls is wasting no time. They've already opened a second location in downtown Portland at 1 Monument Square. You'll find them next to Cera sandwich shop.

If you visit the new Oola Bowls in Portland, Maine, you'll find a rather expansive menu for the small location.
Oola Bowls offers everything from an expansive coffee menu (including hot mushroom coffee) to soft serve ice cream. Don't sleep on the Nutella soft serve.
But the bread and butter for Oola Bowls is their fresh smoothie and bowls options. There are several different base options, including acai, pitaya and coconut to pair with a host of different toppings.
Oola Bowls in Portland, Maine is open 7am until 8pm Monday through Saturday as well as 8am until 6pm on Sunday.
