Move over, Portland, because Biddeford, Maine, is blowing up!

Okay, I guess comparing Biddeford to Portland is a bit of a stretch. But the place once considered a “bit of a rough diamond” has been transforming into a desirable hotspot over the last several years, with revamped buildings and a vibrant mix of new businesses. These include restaurants like Magnus on Water and Cowbell, not to mention eat-in breweries like Batson River and hidden gem beaches.

With 119 feet of waterfront on .69 acres of land, 4 Brackett Point Road is quite the stunning waterfront property. It’s the epitome of luxury, boasting panoramic ocean views, state-of-the-art amenities, and that perfect blend of beauty and comfort.

Listed by William Gaynor of Legacy Properties Sotheby's International Realty, this 3,675 square-foot, 4-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom home sold in November of 2023 for $3.5 million dollars. Can we talk about the pool that overlooks the ocean? It gave me serious resort vibes. This dream home is also nestled in a private community with easy walking access to two beaches, as well as nearby walking trails.

Although 4 Brackett Point Road takes the cake as being the most expensive home to sell in Biddeford in 2023, it’s worth mentioning the runner-up 45 Lester B. Orcutt Boulevard. It's slightly smaller and a bit further from the beach, but it's gorgeous as well, and sold for $3.15 million in August of 2023.
