Raptor Falls Is Back: Maine’s Dino-Themed Mini Golf Adventure Opens Soon
What’s not to love about miniature golf? It’s quick, fun, doable even with an adult beverage, family-friendly, inexpensive, often includes ice cream, and can be downright challenging.
The Maine mini golf scene is fantastic. There are tons of courses that offer a great mix of fun, creativity, and challenging play.
And then there’s this one—you could say it’s prehistorically perfect.
Raptor Falls in Arundal is One of Maine's Premier Mini Golf Courses
Located in the southern Maine town of Arundel is the "Jurassic Park" of the Pine Tree State: Raptor Falls Mini Golf & Ice Cream (because everyone knows ice cream is a must at any mini golf joint).
Raptor Falls opened in 2019 and features an 18-hole mini golf course, locally made ice cream, and animatronic dinosaurs—including a triceratops, a tyrannosaurus rex, and raptors. The dinos are scattered throughout the course and even play a big role in some of the holes.
Raptor Falls Mini Golf Takes the Dinosaur Theme to the Next Level
In fact, the whole course is dedicated to these extinct beasts, blended with beautiful water features, creatively themed holes, dino-shaped greens, unique hardscapes, and lush landscaping. It’s perfect for dinosaur fanatics, mini golf enthusiasts, or really anyone who enjoys a good time.
According to Raptor Falls’ website, the course was the dream of owners Bree and Cliff Gajtkowski. That dream became a reality and is now about to kick off its sixth summer. In fact, the opening date for the 2025 season was just announced, along with some very interesting updates.
That’s some extremely exciting news for fans of Raptor Falls. Not only will you be able to get a round of golf in, but starting soon, you can scale a sweet climbing wall. And the addition of bumper boats in 2026 will officially give Raptor Falls serious “fun park” status.
Opening day is Saturday, May 3, weather permitting. Greens fees and group ticket options can all be found on the Raptor Falls website.
