L.L. Bean in Freeport, Maine, Celebrating Grand Opening With Concerts and Events
It's been about two full years since L.L. Bean closed their flagship store in Freeport, Maine, for a $50 million dollar "reboot" of the building.
That "reboot" is about to be on full display as L.L. Bean is set to roll out six consecutive weeks of special events and concerts to celebrate the grand opening of their new signature property.

The Grand Opening Weekend at L.L. Bean Features a Free Concert and More
The kickoff to the grand opening weekend celebration happens Friday, September 18 with a free concert at Discovery Park featuring country music superstar Kip Moore.
From 9am until 9pm on September 19 and 20, visitors to the L.L. Bean Flagship store can check out the new multi-tiered trout pond, the supersized steam tank, as well as the reimagined custom shop.
L.L. Bean in Freeport, Maine, Celebrates Heritage Weekend From September 25 Through 27
The second weekend of grand opening celebrations will feature a vintage product drop from L.L. Bean at 9am on Friday, September 25.
L.L. Bean also invites visitors to their version of Antiques Roadshow from 3-6pm all weekend long where visitors can bring their vintage L.L. Bean merchandise and get an expert consult on its modern-day value.
The Freeport, Maine, Fall Festival Takes Place October 2 Through 4
The fall festival in Freeport, Maine, keeps growing and this year the event will include five stages of live music as well as more than 200 artisans, makers and food vendors on site throughout the weekend.
L.L. Bean's flagship store will take part in the festivities with additional fun activities and some surprises from October 2 through 4.
Makers Weekend Arrives at L.L. Bean in Freeport, Maine, October 9 Through 11
Makers weekend at the L.L. Bean flagship store will feature a unique art making offering each day of the weekend.
There will be block painting, chainstitch embroidery as well as a chance to get your boat and tote painted throughout various days from October 9 through 11.
The Pumpkin Festival Happens at L.L. Bean in Freeport, Maine, October 16 to 18
The Pumpkin Festival is back at L.L. Bean with the pumpkin lighting taking place at 5pm on Friday, October 16. That will followed be a screening of Hocus Pocus at 7pm.
The weekend will be filled with fun, games, treats and events including the Camp Sunshine Flannel 5k on Sunday where participants are dressed with their favorite flannel.
L.L. Bean Celebrations End With Home Team Weekend on October 23 to 25
To close out six weeks of grand opening celebrations, L.L. Bean will host Home Team Weekend.
On Friday, October 23, L.L. Bean will host a free concert at 7pm featuring The Wallflowers.
On Saturday, October 24, the Red Sox Experience will take center stage from 12-4pm featuring batting cages, pitching stations and an autograph session with a Red Sox legend.
On Sunday, October 25, the Portland Hearts of Pine Experience takes over with a chance to meet-and-greet with players, photograph opportunities and a chance to kick the ball around the park.
