There have been very few, if any, book and movie series that have been more popular than Harry Potter. Legions of devoted fans will travel all over the world to get closer to the movie stars, props, and experiences having to do with the books and films.

Starting in September, New England Harry Potter fans will get a rare treat. A world-class Harry Potter exhibition is hitting the road and bringing all of its wonderful incantations to the region for a four-month run in Boston.

Harry Potter: The Exhibition has been wowing visitors around the world over the last calendar year. Initially, the interactive exhibit was only available in one U.S. location, New York City. Now, it's ready to open in Boston this September.

Harry Potter: The Exhibition is an immersive experience for the truest of Potter fans. Each piece of the exhibition is broken up like houses of Hogwarts. Every exhibit features actual props and costumes used in Harry Potter films. The photo opportunities are endless.

But the interactivity is where Harry Potter: The Exhibition shines. Visitors can set up a wizarding profile, wear a wristband throughout the exhibit, and search for Golden Snitch medallions. Those medallions will customize your experience through the exhibit, based on your wizard profile.

Over the course of 20 galleries, fans will get a chance to brew potions, practice their quidditch skills, and relive some of the most iconic scenes from the Harry Potter films.

Harry Potter: The Exhibition will be located at 100 Cambridgeside Place in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The exhibition opens on Friday September 13, and runs seven days per week. The exhibition will end its run on Sunday, January 5 of 2025.
