Each and every summer in Maine, people flock to the enjoy some sun and fun in Old Orchard Beach.

The seasonal town has remained a tourism hotspot for decades upon decades with absolutely no sign of wavering.

Typically, the fall and winter are much quieter in the small beach town with the exception of a few events centered around the holidays.

One of those events may appeal to those hoping to have a unique breakfast in a unique setting with some unique guests.

Old Orchard Beach, Maine, Holding 'Grinch' Breakfast For One Day in December

Put on by the Old Orchard Beach recreation department, visitors are invited to a morning breakfast in Whoville also known as the OOB Ballpark.

It all happens on Sunday, December 7. There will be two sessions for visitors to Whoville, both of which last an hour each.

Adult tickets are $12, kids 3 and up are $9 and kids 2 and under get to visit Whoville at no cost. More detailed ticketing information can be found here.

What to Expect at the Grinch Breakfast in Old Orchard Beach, Maine

For both of the two sessions, OOB Rec encourages all visitors to dress in their finest Grinch attire or favorite pair of pajamas.

There will be green waffles on the menu because of course. Those will be served alongside other breakfast staples.

There will be a selection of acoustic tunes playing curated by the Grinch and the Grinch alone.

And every visitor will get to meet the Grinch and have a photo taken.

Just remember, no smiles or laughter are allowed.
