Study Says This is The Cheapest Time to Fly In or Out of Maine
After a lengthy winter and a spring that brings rain to every single weekend in Maine, there are plenty of reasons why residents of Vacationland would want to spend a little time somewhere else.
In an alternate universe, the warming temperatures and the call of the ocean make plenty of people outside of Maine desperate to find a little peace and quiet inside the Pine Tree State.
There's just one big problem. Traveling can cost a lot of money. Especially if you're flying somewhere. That's why a new study took on the challenge of crunching numbers and determining the best time to book you flight for getaways across the country.
If You Want to Visit Maine, Book Your Flight 29 Days in Advance
A company called NetCredit did a deep dive into airline pricing as it pertains to visiting each state across the nation. And if you're someone looking to visit Maine, your best bet to get the cheapest airfare is to wait until 29 days before your trip.
That could put nervous travelers on edge but if the goal is saving as much money as possible while still getting to your destination, you've got to be patient.
