
Martha Stewart Visits This New Kennebunkport, Maine, Seafood Restaurant
A new restaurant opened in Kennebunkport, Maine, a few months ago, and Martha Stewart recently dropped in for a bite.
According to a Facebook post from The Breakwater Inn and an Instagram post from Stewart herself, the homemaking and businesswoman icon visited the restored hotel as well as the new Port Fish & Chop House on Saturday, August 30.
Stewart even revealed what "delicious lunch" they were served.

Stewart shared in an Instagram post that on her way home, she stopped in Kennebunkport to see her friend, a restaurateur and entrepreneur who recently opened the restored hotel The Breakwater Inn.
That included checking out the new restaurant, Port Fish & Chop House, and giving it her stamp of approval. Stewart said that she and her party were served "chowder, fried clams, oysters, fish and chips, baked clams, lobster rolls and crab cakes."
Talk about a seafood experience of deliciousness!
Port Fish & Chop House Opens in Kennebunkport, Maine
Port Fish & Chop House in Kennebunkport had its soft opening in June, but according to Seacoast Online, the official grand opening of the new seafood spot coincided with The Breakwater Inn's reopening in July.
MaineBiz reported that the boutique hotel, which dates back to the 1880s, got a brand new owner and underwent a big makeover.
The media outlet noted that in addition to the renovations, two bars were added to the property, as well as the Port Fish & Chop House.
The restaurant is separate from the inn, according to Seacoast Online, and anyone can come eat there, whether they have a reservation or not.

As for what's on the menu?
Port Fish & Chop House is serving up a variety of seafood offerings, including oysters, crab cakes, steamed lobster, and seared scallops.
You can even get steaks and pasta, like lobster risotto and shrimp scampi.
