This would mark the second location for King's Head Pub.
According to Portland Old Port, the first spot debuted in June 2014 in Portland, serving up fantastic food and a variety of beers on tap. It's still thriving today.
As for the new spot? An Instagram post from King's Head Pub revealed its Freeport location opened on August 16, a little less than a year after the historic Jameson Tavern closed its doors.

But which of the delicious meals should you get when you visit the gastropub?
A Facebook post from Visit Freeport highlighted that "the menu includes favorites from their Portland location along with new seafood dishes just for Freeport."
And if you look at the menu, you've definitely got options, including Crispy Chicken sandwiches, pub fare like Guinness Braised King's Roast, and yes, seafood like fried clams, baked Haddock, and lobster.
That's not even mentioning the "extensive draft selection and whiskey offerings," which you can check out on their website.
