Pet Partners holds an annual fundraiser where people can nominate their animal for Pet of the Year. The participants and the pet who raises the most money win the contest as Pet of the Year. The money raised goes towards programs like Pet Partners crisis intervention team that helps in crises such as the recent California wildfires and the Uvalde school shooting in Texas.

Jamie Lestak from Gorham and their dog (not shown above) are competing in the contest this year, so Mainers will be routing for them to win. The Pet Partners Pet of the Year 2025 winner will be awarded thousands of dollars in prizes.
