I experienced a Monster Truck at a car dealership in New Hampshire. But first, let's talk about EcoDrive.

If you've never been Eco Drive Auto Mall in Gorham, New Hampshire is massive. I walked in expecting to see a handful of cars, and instead found rows and rows of vehicles, from everyday commuters to lifted trucks and everything in between. More importantly, the people there genuinely love what they do.

General Manager Chad and Lauren made us feel right at home, and you can tell the entire team is passionate about helping people find the right vehicle, not just making a sale.

Then I met Adam Ramsay. Outside was his monster truck.

And when I say monster truck, I don't mean a truck with oversized tires. I mean a truck so enormous that if it pulled up behind me on Route 2, I'd probably just pull over and apologize for whatever I had done.

Naturally, I climbed in.

Sitting what felt like 14 feet in the air, I asked Adam what I thought was a perfectly reasonable question:

"So... does it have NOS?" Because I have learned everything about cars from The Fast and The Furious Franchise. He told me it ran on something else, but I don't remember.

Then Adam asked, "Want me to start it?"

He turned the key and pressed like six buttons and the truck absolutely roared to life.

The entire cab started vibrating. The steering wheel shook. The seat shook. I'm pretty sure my internal organs shifted positions.

So naturally, I asked the next logical question:

"Where are your earplugs?"

Adam casually replied, "I don't wear any."

I'm sorry... what?

I can't even vacuum my living room without using my air pods so I don't have hearing damager from the vacuum decibels.

Meanwhile, Adam spends his weekends driving this mechanical dinosaur with zero hearing protection like it's completely normal.

If you find yourself at EcoDrive Auto Mall, definitely stop in and check them out. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly loves everything with four wheels.

And if you happen to see Adam... Maybe ask him about the monster truck.

Just don't ask if it has NOS. Trust me on that one.
