Remember the movie Signs with Mel Gibson and Joaquin Phoenix about aliens that left crop circles in the cornfield signaling an invasion? I felt a little like that when this crazy thing happened to me. It's not crop circles big, but the coincidence is pretty amazing. Well, at least to me.

I have been on a binge of eating graham crackers lately. They're kind of addicting, and I know they aren't good for me in the quantities I'm eating them, but they're just so good, especially with peanut butter on them.

When I opened a package from the box, I found this after I had plowed through about 5 crackers:

Is that not the State of Maine represented by a graham cracker? Sure, it's just a little crum, but it sure looks like Maine to me.

I didn't hold onto it because I decided to eat. You can't let a good graham cracker go to waste.

My girlfriend Michele came home with a bag of potato chips that a friend of hers told her were amazing. So she shared some with me, filling up a small bowl with these delicious potato chips. Halfway through finishing the bowl of potato chips, I picked this up.

What?!? Another Maine?

This one looks much more like the shape of Maine than the graham cracker did. My mind was blown. Two Maine-shaped snacks, randomly looking like the state of Maine, in less than a month? What are the odds?

I didn't keep this one either, because the chips were just too good. So I took my time beginning with biting off Arrostook County, before realizing that's where potatoes come from. Oops.
