That beautiful little boutique you wander into saying, I am just going browse and leave with 4 new outfits, a necklace, and a new sense of self-discovery.

If you've spent any time in a mall, you've at least walked by one of these stores.

According to News Center Maine, this beloved women’s retailer is closing it’s doors after filing to Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. They are shutting down every single one of there locations nationwide, including Maine.

They've been in business for around 25 years. As per the report, the exact date of closure has yet to be announced but the message is pretty clear, once all of the shelves are empty, the doors will no longer open.

Francesca's Bankrupt Closing All Store Nationwide

As per the article, they are liquidating everything and giving steep discounts to shoppers online and in store, which includes 457 locations in 45 states. That's quite a bit of liquidating.

Think $15 bucks and-under-type-deals, yea, so you better get your buns over there and shop-cry. It feels exciting, but also heartbreaking at the same time. Like a shopping farewell tour.

Employees have been laid off and didn’t have much notice, leaving many without work. And let's be honest, this wasn't just a store, it’s a haven for many.

So this marks the end of a shop that was your go-to for, I deserve this, items. You know, those perfect pieces, you didn’t know you needed, until you did.
