This unique park and orchard is family-run in beautiful midcoast Bremen, Maine. It's bordered by Pemaquid Pond on its northern side on the Pemaquid Peninsula. Blenheim Park is home to Maine’s largest cherry orchard, growing 200 sour cherry trees and 150 ornamental flowering trees.

According to the Blenheim Park website, Hanami (or 'flower viewing' in Japanese) is a tradition celebrating cherry blossoms, known as "sakura." You don't have to go to Washington, D.C. to enjoy cherry blossoms! You can stay right here in Maine. Right now, you can register for the 2025 Hanami picnic and the second annual Hanami Days. There is only one date to picnic in this orchard that is not open daily to the public. Sunday, May 18, will be the day you can BYO picnic lakeside in the century-old estate.

Maine organic cherries in all sorts of delicious products are available to purchase

The cherries from Maine's largest cherry orchard are used to make delicious cocktail syrup, preserved cherry blossoms to teas, cocktail accroutement, bath and body products and more. All are available to purchase!

This is a great way to get a taste of this unique orchard since they are not open daily to the public. But this picnic would be a stunning way to not only see the cherry blossoms, which many consider spiritual, but to get outside in Maine and try something other than lobster.
