Downtown Bangor’s ‘Evenroods’ Will Close For Good At The End Of The Year
For 15 years, Evenrood's restaurant has held down the corner of Downtown Bangor. Located at 24 Broad Street, Evenrood's has offered the Queen City a spot to meet up and grab a drink, or pop in for a date night that's a little on the fancier side.
They announced today via social media that they'll be closing their doors at the end of the year.
"After an incredible decade, Evenrood’s will be closing its doors on December 31, 2025. We are deeply grateful to our loyal guests, friends, and community for making this journey so special. Your support, stories, and shared meals have meant the world to us. Join us over the coming months to savor your favorites, raise a glass, and celebrate the many moments we’ve shared together."
The post went on to thank all of their past patrons for visiting the restaurant. There was no reason given for the decision to close.
Evenrood's announcement comes on the heels of a handful of other downtown closures over the past year.
The Salty Brick had to shut down following a fire. Rebecca's closed up shop when its owners retired.

Queen City Cinema Club and Bangor Arts Exchange, and the Central Street Farm House also pulled out of the downtown area last year, leaving vacancies throughout the area.
There have been some great new additions to the area, like Sawyer's Shaved Ice and Paloma's Gifts; however, there are still a lot of empty spots in Downtown Bangor.
