Two people were injured Thursday morning after a rollover crash on I-95 in Newburgh.

Van Rolled Over on Roof

The Maine State Police said the driver and a passenger were hurt after the van went off the road, rolled over upside down and ended up against a tree.

Two People Injured and Taken to the Hospital

Both were injured and transported to the hospital. They were not wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident, said WABI News.

Third Person not Injured

A third person in the vehicle was not injured in the crash around 8 am.

Weather a Factor

Police said bad weather was a contributing factor in the crash. Traffic in the left lane was closed for over an hour. The investigation is ongoing.

First responders on the scene were the Maine State Police, Department of Transportation, LifeFlight and Carmel Fire & Rescue.
