
Man Sentenced to 6.5 Years for Drug Trafficking in Maine
A 35-year-old man was sentenced to 6.5 years in prison for drug trafficking in Maine.
78 Months in Prison
Felix Jose Bautista was charged with trafficking fentanyl and cocaine. He was given 78 months and four years of supervised release.
Search Warrant
Bautista was arrested after Homeland Security Investigations executed a search warrant at his Owls Head residence in June 2024.
Cocaine, Fentanyl and Cash Seized
Agents seized approximately 154 grams of cocaine and one package containing close to 62 grams of fentanyl. Also confiscated was $11,319 in cash.
Purchased Drugs from Co-Conspirator
The U.S. Attorney’s Office said “Bautista admitted to investigators that he had purchased the drugs from a co-conspirator, believed them to be cocaine and heroin, and that he was storing the cash on behalf of his accomplice.”
Routinely Ordered Drugs
Bautista also told investigators he had been operating for about five months and routinely ordered 200 grams of cocaine and 60 grams of heroin.

The case was investigated by the Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and Knox County Sheriff’s Office.
