Hampden, Maine Food Truck To Open A Mexican Restaurant In Bangor
New business alert!
I can't lie, I have a fairly huge obsession with food trucks. I really get obsessed when there are multiple trucks in one space at the same time, so it goes without saying that I have spent more than a few days on the Bangor Waterfront, grabbing lunch.
Food trucks have existed since as early as the 1930s, but they gained their true popularity in more recent decades, after the 2008 recession.
At any given time, there are a multitude of trucks out on the streets in the Bangor area, and beyond, but one featuring Mexican street food, is taking it to the next level.
It always exciting when a new dining option comes to town, offering up tasty treats.
Mainely Tacos, a popular Hampden area food truck, is set to expand to a brick and mortar buliding in Downtown Bangor.
Mainely Tacos Dos, is set to open at 64 Main Street, which is the former location of Headies Glass.
Owner, Christopeher Martin, is originally from Arizona, but came to Maine, to bring some top notch Mexican street food to the state of Maine.
You can expect delicious cuisine on the menu, when they open their doors for business next month.
Tacos with carne asada, fish, shrimp, and carnitas, burriots and burrito bowls, street corn, along with a self-serve chips and salsa bar, are just a taste of what you can expect to enjoy.
Drinks anyone? Mexican beer, local Maine craft brews, and of course, margartias will be available to sample.
