If you’re feeling the winter blues, here’s a chance to swap snow boots for island vibes, at least for a few hours.

A free, family-friendly event called “Summer in the Snow” is happening tomorrow, February 20th, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the China Middle School gym, and it’s shaping up to be a fun escape from the cold.

Hosted by Central Church, the luau-themed evening will feature bounce houses, games, popcorn, hot dogs, and plenty of activities designed to bring a little sunshine to the middle of February. Organizers say the goal is simple: create a welcoming space where families can come together, have fun, and enjoy a night out without worrying about the cost.

Whether you’re bringing the kids to burn off some energy, meeting up with friends, or just looking for something different to do on a winter evening, the event promises a relaxed, upbeat atmosphere with plenty of tropical flair.

Admission is completely free, and everyone in the community is invited to stop by, join the fun, and take part in a night that proves you don’t need warm weather to enjoy a little summer spirit.
