Golf season in Maine always feels a little too short. Just when you start figuring out your swing, the temperatures drop and the clubs head into storage. A new business coming to Manchester could give golfers a reason to keep them out.

Back Nine Golf is preparing to open at 1 Back Nine Drive in Manchester, Maine, bringing an indoor option for anyone who isn’t ready to call it quits for the season.

What Is Back Nine Golf?

According to its website, the facility will feature Full Swing golf simulators, allowing players to experience courses like Pebble Beach and Torrey Pines without booking a flight.

The simulators also provide feedback on ball speed, launch angle, and other details, giving golfers a way to practice with a little more information than “well, that one went sideways.”

The Manchester location advertises 24/7 access, making the concept especially appealing for people whose schedules don’t line up with daylight hours.

Do You Need a Membership?

You won’t need a membership to book a tee time. Both beginners and experienced golfers are welcome, with memberships available for those looking for additional benefits.

The website currently lists Manchester as “coming soon,” and visitors can sign up for opening updates and launch offers.

Whether you want to work on your swing or challenge a friend during a snowstorm, this could become another way to get out of the house during a Maine winter.
