A Sneak Peek at Maine’s Labor Day Weather Forecast

It is really hard to believe that we are reaching the end of summer.  Doesn't it feel like Memorial Day was just a few days ago?  Clearly, that is not the case.  Labor Day, the unofficial end of summer, is just days away.

We are going to savor the last few days of summer.

So, what is the weather going to be like for the upcoming long weekend?

The Labor Day Weekend Forecast For Maine

Overall, it looks like it is going to be an amazing weekend throughout most of Maine.  Of course, it is important to note that these conditions could change before we actually get to the weekend.

According to the National Weather Service, the long weekend in Central Maine will start off with a mostly sunny Friday with a high near 79, although there’s a slight chance of showers late in the day.  Saturday will be partly sunny and cooler, with a high around 71.  Sunday looks mostly sunny and mild, topping out near 72, followed by a mostly clear night. Labor Day will bring plenty of sunshine with temperatures climbing to around 77.

On the coast, the weekend will start off with a sunny Friday with a high of around 83.  Saturday, Sunday, and Monday will all be mostly sunny with a high of around 77.

In The County, there will be some showers on Friday, but the rest of the weekend looks great.  Saturday will be partly sunny with a chance of showers and a high near 67. It will also be breezy, with north winds gusting up to 26 mph. Showers could linger into Saturday evening before skies gradually clear. Sunday looks mostly sunny and mild, with a high around 69, followed by a partly cloudy night. Labor Day will be sunny and warmer, with temperatures reaching about 74 degrees.
