Major New England Carnival Company Wants to Partner With Social Media Influencers – Maine, New Hampshire, & Massachusetts Take Note
Over the last few years, we have seen the concept of social media influencers evolve.
Just a few years ago, we all thought of social media influencers as being young, attractive men and women who used their good looks to promote products. In most cases, these people lacked any real talent or unique viewpoint. They managed to amass millions of followers purely because they were good looking.
For the most part, those days are behind us.
Influencers in 2026 are a lot more varied in their demographics and psychographics. An average person in their 30s selling items on TikTok or a grandmother who loves baking that just happens to be endorsed by a cookware company, for example.
These days, the best influencers are real, genuine people.
While they technically aren't "influencers" I have even seen brides and grooms hiring content creators to take pics and videos for various social media platforms during their big day.
As a result, the email from Fiesta Shows about their new influencer program did not surprise me.

Fiesta Shows Influencer Advisory Council
One of the major providers of midways in New England, Fiesta Shows is looking for social media influencers.
A website post about the opportunity explains that the program is about more than just posting on social media. Members of our advisory group will get a behind-the-scenes look at our fairs, share real stories from their own experience, and offer feedback that helps guide what future events look like.
Fiesta Shows is looking for creators who care about honesty, creativity, and connecting with their community, not just how many followers they have.
If you love local events, family fun, and capturing genuine moments, they want to hear from you.
For more details you can fill out the form HERE
Of course, it does not really explain whether this is a job or whether you'll be compensated in some other way.
Honestly, if you are interested it is worth filling out the form to find out more.

About Fiesta Shows
In business for over 90 years, Fiesta Shows got its start as an oceanfront amusement park in Massachusetts.
Eugene Dean and Jack Flynn teamed up in the amusement park business under the name Dean & Flynn, with one simple goal: create clean, family-friendly fun, built on quality and fair play.
As the demand for wholesome family entertainment grew, so did Dean & Flynn. In 1967, Dean & Flynn purchased Fiesta Shows. Over the past few decades, Fiesta Shows has enjoyed remarkable growth and has become an annual tradition in scores of New England communities.
Today, Fiesta Shows is the largest New England-based carnival in the business, and certainly, one of the biggest in the entire Northeast. Fiesta Shows owned over 100 amusement rides, from the traditional Merry-Go-Round and Tilt-A-Whirl to the Big Splash Flume Ride and thrilling Freak Out and Speed XXL.
On top of that, the company also puts on several major holiday lights displays each year.
