According to a press release from the Maine Department of Public Safety, a Belfast man has been arrested in connection with a fatal crash that happened earlier this year on Route 1 in Stockton Springs.

Maine State Police arrested 42-year-old Adam Sorrentino at his Belfast home on Monday, October 5th.  The arrest comes following an investigation into the April 13th crash that killed 77-year-old Anne Pomroy of Old Orchard Beach.

Sorrentino was charged with manslaughter, aggravated criminal OUI with death resulting, reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon, driving to endanger, OUI, and criminal speed.

*NOTE – All suspects are considered innocent until being found guilty in a court of law
