While this pandemic has taken an awful toll on the country, and the world, there have been a few positive things to come from it.  It seems that, in the past 9+ months, we've ditched our electronic forms of entertainment, and reverted back to simpler pastimes.  Families are spending time cooking / baking, playing board games, playing ball in the yard, and going for walks.

It looks like the City of Augusta Parks and Recreation Department is going to help continue this trend.

In a Facebook post, they've announced that they are in the process of building a skating rink at Mill Park.

No word on exactly when it will be open and/or what other facilities will be at the rink.  When we learn more, we'll definitely pass the info on to you.
