Husson Wrestler Wins National Title Just After Tragedy Strikes
Danny Buteau, a sophomore at Husson University arrived in Allen Texas last week for the National Collegiate Wrestling Association championships, which feature schools that do not have varsity programs. He made it through the first few rounds without difficulty when he got the news no one wants to get.
WGME, the wrestler he beat, was the wrestler who eliminated him the previous year. Buteau, in an interview afterwards said he was wrestling for his uncle. We are all sending our thoughts and prayers to him and his family at this time.
