If you love Acadia National Park, you’re going to want to take advantage of this!

Annual entrance passes for Acadia National Park will be on sale at nearly half-
price ($28) for most of December at the Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce Visitor's Center located at 2 Cottage Street where the Acadia National Park's Information Center is located during the Winter and Spring months.

Annual entrance passes must be obtained in person and paid for by cash, check, or major credit card. No phone orders will be taken. They are valid for one year from the month of purchase. Annual entrance passes are only available in the form of a wallet card pass. Once signed, they are non-transferable. Photo identification will be requested to verify ownership upon entry to the park.

Annual entrance passes will also be available for cash purchase only at the town offices of Mount Desert, Tremont, Gouldsboro, and Winter Harbor, and at the Schoodic Education Research Center They will be available for sale at the Ellsworth Chamber of Commerce

In addition to these locations, annual entrance passes will be sold during the Bar Harbor Village Holidays and Midnight Madness Sale on Friday, December 6th, 8 PM – Midnight, at the information building on Firefly Lane across from the Village Green in Bar Harbor.

80 percent of all fees collected from the annual pass sales remain in Acadia National Park so the National Park Service can invest in critical improvements that directly benefit visitors to Acadia National Park including maintaining and enhancing visitor facilities. Entrance pass revenues are essential for funding the operation of the island Explorer bus system. The National Park Service uses the remaining 20 percent to benefit other sites in the Park System.
