Gas Prices Up Again In Maine This Week And The Cheapest Places to Buy Gas In Central Maine
For the fourth week in a row, gas prices are up; both in Maine and nationally.
According to the price monitoring site Gas Buddy, the average price for a gallon of gas in Maine is $2.396, which is up over three cents from last weeks average price of $2.365.
Nationally, gas prices continue to rise, also. This weeks national average for a gallon of gas is $2.417, which is up over a penny from last weeks average price of $2.409.
We searched locally for the lowest gas prices in Central Maine.
In Augusta, the lowest price we could find was at the C & S Market on 785 riverside Drive, which is reporting gas at $2.31 a gallon.
In Waterville, the cheapest price we could find was at the Sunoco Station on the West River Road, which is selling gas at $2.35 a gallon.
