Given how tumultuous the last nine months have been, it should not come as much of a surprise that we are all gravitating toward Christmas and Holiday traditions.

According to WGME, the classic Frosty The Snowman and Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer animated specials are coming back to TV in the next week.

All of these specials can be seen locally on Channel 13 in Portland.

Frost The Snowman - Friday, November 27th at 8 PM - The 1969 classic about a group of kids that bring a snowman to live by putting a magic hat on his head.  Narrated by Jimmy Durante, the special also includes the voices of Jackie Vernon (as Frosty) and Billy De Wolfe (as Professor Hinkle).

Frosty Returns - Friday, November 27th at 8:30 PM - The 1992 sequel which features Jonathan Winters is the narrator with John Goodman as the voice of Frosty.

Robbie The Reindeer - Saturday, November 28th at 8 PM - With the voice of Robbie Williams

Robbie The Reindeer: The Lost Tribe - Saturday, November 28th at 8:30 PM

The Story of Santa Claus - Saturday, November 28th at 9 PM - This musical holiday special revolves around a gentle toymaker (voiced by Ed Asner) whose only wish is to deliver a toy to every child on Christmas. The voices of Betty White and Tim Curry are also featured.

Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer - Tuesday, December 1st at 8 PM - The classic 1964 special that has been delighting children (and children at heart) for over half a century.
