Authorities To Release Images Of Boston Bombing Suspects + Watch The Memorial Service
The Boston Globe’s website Boston.com is reporting that authorities have clear video images of two suspects in Monday’s Boston Marathon bombing, and they are planning to release those images sometime today.
There is no timetable as of now for the release of the images, President Obama is in the city today for a memorial service for the victims, and law enforcement officials have not set a time for a press briefing.
The announcement comes one day after confusion reigned in the media over the possible arrest of a suspect. Early yesterday afternoon, CNN and other media outlets reported that a suspect had been arrested, a story that the Boston Police denied at approximately 2:45 p.m., announcing “there has not been an arrest in the Marathon attack.”
Check back for more updates as they become available.
