After Shopping All Weekend, Give Something Back On Giving Tuesday
So, after stuffing yourself on Thanksgiving, shopping the chain stores on Black Friday, shopping the local businesses on Small Biz Saturday, and shopping some more (from your desk at work) on Cyber Monday, it is time to give something back. It's time to celebrate Giving Tuesday! Giving Tuesday is a globally celebrated day of giving back.It’s a call-to-action for people around the world to donate money, time and talent to the causes they care most about.
According to WABI TV, there are plenty of local organizations participating, including:
- Several United Way of Eastern Maine partners including Spruce Run Womancare Alliance.
