5 Year Old Boy Dies After Falling Out of Canoe in Vassalboro

Centralmaine.com reports this morning that the 5 year old boy who was canoeing with his mother on Outlet Stream in Vassalboro died overnight. 

The water had a strong current and both ended up in the stream. Centralmaine.com reports both were wearing life-vests, but the water was extremely cold.

Maine Wardens are still investigating the incident.
