The Maine Brewers' Guild are  sending a shipping container filled with Maine's beer to England for a beer festival AND when the container comes back it will be filled with UK beers for a beer festival in Portland this fall according to US News.

The Maine Warden Service is still doing searches on  the Androscoggin River looking for a 5-year-old boy from Auburn who fell in the river two weeks. Newscenter reports the river and its banks are dangerous and any one helping to be careful.

After years of trying to work with the owners, Augusta councilors declared four buildings to be dangerous. According to centralmaine.com  the owners now have two months to demolish the sites. If not, Augusta can do it and charge the owners.
