Happy Star Wars Day!

Why is today the day we celebrate one of the greatest movie franchises (along with books, games, toys, etc)?  Because it is May the 4th!  May the fourth be with you!  Get it?  If you don't, ask a Star Wars fan.

To celebrate, people have parties and movie marathons.  There's at least one couple, in Southern Maine, who are getting married today.

Looks like retailers are getting in on the fun this year.  Check out these deals from StarWars.com and retailer Facebook pages:

– Best Buy has lots of deals on their “Star Wars” gear – up to 40% off.

– Kohls . Get two “Star Wars” tees for $20 online through Saturday. Younger “Star Wars” fans will enjoy a backpack and lunch bag set, which is half off of its regular $29.99 price. Other items, including “Star Wars” products, will be 20% off with a special offer code thorough Sunday on its website.

– Hot Wheels' ,website has a deal where you save 25% off all Hot Wheels Star Wars items using the promo code “STARWARS” through Sunday.

– Gap has a page full of “Star Wars” deals including free shipping using the code “MAYTHE4TH”.

– Denny’s is offering collector cups for $3.99. The cups are available in four themes: Chewbacca, Han Solo, Lando Calrissian and Qi’ra.

– LEGO is offering a free “Star Wars” Mini BB-8 set with the purchase of $75 in LEGO “Star Wars” merchandise. The deal is available through Sunday at their site

– Barnes and Noble has a large selection of “Star Wars” toys and games start at $3.99.

– Kay Jewelers has Star Wars jewelry with some up to 50% off

– Sony PlayStation Store has discounts on “Star Wars” games like Battlefront II, LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter, and Star Wars Pinball.
