Sabattus Disc Golf to Hold National Tournament

Disc golf is one of the fastest growing recreational sports and now a local business has been chosen to host a national event. The 2016 Women's Disc Golf Championship will be held at Sabattus Disc Golf. The event is sanctioned by the Professional Disc Golf Association, in conjunction with the Maine Sports Commission.

Peter Ruby, owner of Sabattus Disc Golf told the Sun/Journal that, "This is really big... It's never been held Maine. It takes a lot of planning and preparation."

The tourney will be held next year from September 23 - September 25.
