A paper shredding truck accidentally shifted into gear while parked in downtown Augusta, sending it on a unmanned journey which eventually lead it to a wall. According to the Kennebec Journal, Craig Knox, of Rome parked the Shredding On Site truck on Oak Street Monday morning (July 17). While he attended to shredding, the truck took off crossing the nearby Commercial Street and into a concrete, city-owned retaining wall just off the road. Fortunately, no one was injured in the event, and the truck didn't encounter any traffic. However, traffic was backed up for a short time as they removed the 2013 Perterbuilt box truck.
