New England "junk rock" band Recycled Percussion has set a new world record for playing the most shows ever in one day.

According to WMUR TV, yesterday they performed 45 shows across the state of New Hampshire.  Since every show was done at a Dunkin' Donuts, I'm guessing the mini tour was fueled by cold brew coffee and Boston cream donuts.

In addition to setting a world record, they used the shows to raise money for children in need.

The band, originally from Goffstown, NH, was formed in the mid-90s for a high school talent show.  In 2012, they appeared on America's Got Talent.

You can see them perform at Aura in Portland on Saturday, November 11th.
