Glen Campbell's 80th birthday will be one to remember: His friend and former collaborator Jimmy Webb will bring his Jimmy Webb: The Glen Campbell Years touring show to Nashville to celebrate the icon's eight decades of life.

When Webb was a teenager, he heard Campbell's voice on the radio, and he prayed that someday, that iconic voice would sing his songs. A few years later, Campbell heard Webb's "By the Time I Get to Phoenix," turned it into a Grammy-winning track and began an incredible partership. Together, the two have crafted more than 100 recordings.

Jimmy Webb: The Glen Campbell Years will play in Nashville on May 3 to commemorate Campbell's 80th birthday (April 22, 2016). The multimedia concert includes personal photos and videos, virtual duets, audio clips and stories of iconic songs such as "Galveston" and "Wichita Lineman" and more. As part of the Nashville show exclusively, Webb will share the stage with three of Campbell's children, Ashley, Shannon and Cal.

“I created this show to honor my friend and collaborator. Now I am very happy to be performing it in Nashville, home of so many good friends, to help celebrate Glen’s 80th birthday. I know that Glen would want us to concentrate on having a good time and enjoying the music,” says Webb in a press release. “Ashley, Shannon and Cal are tremendous musicians; they take after their dad. I am glad to have them as part of this one-night only performance.”

Adds Campbell's wife Kim, “Our family is elated to have Glen’s lifelong friend and favorite songwriter Jimmy Webb honor him with a musical tribute at City Winery as Nashville celebrates Glen’s 80th birthday. It’s sure to be an evening we will never forget!”

According to Kim Campbell's latest update on her husband, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2011, Glen Campbell is currently in the final stage of the disease.
