Jay Woman Dies After Motorcycle Crash In Livermore Falls

According to a report from WGME, police are investigating the cause of a fatal motorcycle crash on Main Street in Livermore Falls that happened this morning (Sept. 25)

The report said, Breanne Hewins, 40, of Jay was killed after she lost control of her motorcycle and hit a telephone pole.

Police said the crash caused the motorcycle to split in half. According to WGME, police said Hawkins, who was not wearing a helmet, died at the scene of the crash.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation, but according to the report, police believe speed was a factor.
