Greater Bangor Open: Round 1

First round play in the 48th annual Greater Bangor Open is underway at Bangor Municipal Golf Course with pros looking to win the $9,000 first place prize.The tournament will have a new champion this year as 2013 winner Eric Steger of Connecticut has not returned to defend his crown. 108 pro and amateurs are in this years field and includes Maine natives Jesse Speirs of Bangor, Ryan Gay of Pittston, and Windham's Shawn Warren.
