Tonight (WED DEC 14) NBC will be airing its annual Saturday Night Live Christmas Show at 9PM. For me, this is can't miss viewing. I have been a big fan of the show since its inception in 1975. There have been some down years, but for the most part, it has been must see TV Saturday nights at 11:30.

Here are five of my favorite skits from past Christmas shows:

A holiday treat for all. This one is pretty simple and straight forward, but for some reason, I crack up every time I watch this. Horatio Sanz, Jimmy Fallon, Chris Kattan and Tracy Morgan perform "I Wish It Was Christmas Today,"

You have to go back to the 80's for this classic from Eddie Murphy. He was the shining light for SNL back in those days, and check out this hilarious parody of Mr Rogers Neighborhood.

In my opinion, the late Chris Farley was one of, if not the best that SNL had to offer. His character Matt Foley, motivational speaker was one of my favorite characters he played. Watch Matt explain Christmas to these kids, as only he can.

Pete Schweddy and his delicious Schweddy Balls. No words. Alec Baldwin nails this performance and manages to keep a straight face through it all. A classic performance.

And my all time favorite SNL Christmas skit? Well, it's a no brainer for me. From 2006, it has to be "Dick in a Box" starring Justin Timberlake and Andy Samberg performing a seductive song about a very special gift box they give to women.

These are five of my favorite Christmas skits from SNL. And I will be watching tonight at 9 or the annual Christmas show. It never disappoints.
