Fatal Head-On Collision in Waldoboro

There was a deadly car crash this afternoon (April 18) in Waldoboro. The apparent head-on collision killed the driver and passenger of one vehicle.

According to the Lincoln County News, the other driver was sent to the Miles campus of Lincoln Health in Damariscotta.

The accident occurred on Route 1 near Wink's Auto Service. Emergency personnel were paged out to the scene at 1:24 p.m. Traffic was rerouted around the scene via Old Route 1.
