Dorothy McGuire, of the 1950's McGuire Sisters singing group, died Friday in Paradise Valley, Arizona. She was 84. The middle sister suffered from Parkinson's disease and age-related dementia. Her sisters Christine, 86, and Phyllis, 81, survive her.

According to the Hollywood Reporter:

The McGuire Sisters were known for their harmonies, synchronized body movements and gestures, earned six gold records for hits including 1954's "Sincerely" and 1957's "Sugartime," both of which reached No. 1, 1954's "Goodnite, Sweetheart, Goodnite" and 1955's "Something's Gotta Give."
