Discount Store Makes Big Donation To Food Pantry

According to the Bangor Daily News, Ocean State Job Lot recently donated the equivilant of 40,000 meals to the Good Shepherd Food Bank.

The 35,000 pound shipment of food was part of OSJL's charitable foundation’s “Three Square Meals” hunger relief program.  Ocean State Job Lots donates more than 8 million pounds of food a year to food banks in 8 states across the northeast.

Based in Rhode Island, Ocean State Job Lot has 7 locations throughout Maine.  Locations in Central Maine include Bangor, Belfast, and Rockland
