Roadhouse Lou, longtime supporter of the Kennebec Valley Humane Society, and former member of the Moose Crew, is helping us celebrate our 30th Anniversary, by bringing back a huge fundraiser.

Mondays really are a downer for most of us.  Always hard to get back into your weekly work routine after having such a beautiful weekend.  So, I'm a space cadet today and find myself just randomly watching funny animal clips...that really are just too good not to share.  You're welcome.

What an awesome surprise we got today!  Chiari warrior, Connor Sawtelle, and his new best friend, Jedi, stopped by and visited Townsquare Media.  They've only been together one day and clearly have bonded.  Jedi is already very protective of Connor and Connor couldn't be more happy to have his service dog.

Jedi is a service dog that was a wish granted to Connor Sawtelle by Make A Wish of Maine.  Connor suffers with the debilitating effects of chiari malformation.  Jedi, who traveled all the way from Colorado, will help Connor with his day to day activities.  Today, Jedi has finally reached his forever home in the arms of Connor.

Since we have teamed up with the Kennebec Valley Humane Society a few months ago, we have been featuring a pet of the week with the hope being that we can find some good, loving homes for some of the animals that have been at the KV Humane Society for awhile, and are looking for their forever homes...

Before this week, you needed the same permit to own a hedgehog in Maine that you needed to own a tiger! Now, it's a lot less complicated.
