Add another NFL record to the long list of records for New England Patriots QB Tom Brady. At 40-years-old Brady becomes the oldest player ever to win the regular season MVP Award.

Brady was not at the awards banquet last night in Minneapolis. Injured receiver Julien Edelman accepted the award on Brady's behalf. (Brady did send out a tweet...see below)

Brady collected 40 votes for MVP. The next closest was LA running back Todd Gurley with eight.

Brady threw for a league-high 4,577 yards, 32 TDs and just 8 interceptions.

When he starts tonight, Brady will set another record - becoming the oldest QB to start a Super Bowl.

NOTE: Live coverage of Super Bowl 52 begins at 3pm today on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket.
