Ayla’s Family to Bring Civil Suit

The family of Ayla Reynolds plans to bring a civil lawsuit against the adults who were the night she last seen Dec 17, 2011.
According to centralmaine.com mothers side of the family wants to pursue civil charges that would possibly include child endangerment and wrongful death against Ayla’s father, Justin DiPietro; his girlfriend, his sister and Justin’s mother.

Ayla was 20 months old when she disappeared from the DiPietro home in Waterville. No charges have been filed in the case.

Justin DiPietro told police he believes Ayla was abducted. Police have said they believe foul play was involved in her disappearance and that they no longer believe she is alive.
