Augusta Police Seek Armed Robbery Suspect
The Augusta police are seeking a suspect in connection with the armed robbery of C&S Market on Riverside Drive on Jan. 12.
According to a release from the police, on January 12, at about 7:50PM, police responded to a report of an armed robbery at C & S Market.
According to police, the suspect was a white male who entered the store with a bandanna over his face.
The man demanded money, police said.
The suspect brandished a weapon similar to a shotgun or rifle, according to police. The man was given all the money in the register.
Luckily no one was injured during the incident. The male fled the store in a dark colored sedan north on Riverside Dr / Route 201 towards Waterville/Winslow. The suspect was further described as 5-feet, 9-inches with a slim build.
