There has been another arrest in Augusta for drugs.

According to the Augusta Police Department new release Officer Mathieu’s attention was focused on a vehicle that was driving erratic Thursday night, March 31, 2016. Before he could perform a motor vehicle stop on the vehicle it struck a parked car on Commercial Street. The drive was identified as 23 year old Barrington Walker from New York City. Walker was operating without a license. With the assistance of Officer McCarthy and a Maine State Police Trooper and K-9, 50 grams of Heroin and 20 grams of Crack Cocaine were located and seized along with cash suspected of being proceeds of illegal drug sales.

Walker was charged with Aggravated Trafficking of Scheduled Drugs, Operating a Vehicle without a License and Criminal Forfeiture of Property. Mr. Walker’s bail has been set at $25,000 cash and was transferred to the Kennebec County Jail.
