The Augusta Police Department is looking to help to educate teen drivers about the laws and consequences of distracted driving. They will host a distracted driver education class (Aug. 21) today at the Buker Center in Room #22.

According to a press release from the APD, the class will be geared towards the teen population of New Mainers, however any teen driver is welcome to attend.

The free class, from 2pm to 4pm, will be instructed by Officer Carly Wiggin and Officer Christopher Hutchings.
